I've e-mailed Fox a couple of times suggesting she get her own fox show; never heard from them. She's beautiful and sexy, but you know that and I hope you keep this site going for us!!

I thought it was just me... I just read most of the fan mail here on your sight and I realized .. wow, it affected others the same way. Seeing Jennifer Eccleston come on and do her bit during the Iraq war sent a charge through me.. the kind of charge a man gets when he sees a new beautiful face, I suppose. I kept watching and waiting for her to do her next report. And NO, others like me that are making these kind of comments on this sight are not, like, stalkers or something.. I don't appreciate that comment which, of course, was made by one of the female entries. (What, is she jealous? Ha! ) THe fact remains that Jen is powerful and captivating and makes quite an impression on many of us out here in TV land.

I posted early-on but haven’t been back to this site in awhile. In looking at the many posts since then, I am heartened to see just how popular this amazing newscaster has become.
And I definitely agree with the several observations that it isn’t simply her stunning beauty as beautiful women are all too common (especially here in Southern California), but rather her “presence”. She has a natural, seductive – yet tasteful -- charisma that elevates her to a level far above all the others. It seems to be a combination of her looks, voice, _expression, rhythm, and presentation that combine perfectly to make this so.
I even heard Rush Limbaugh commenting on how his staff would come to a transfixed standstill whenever she appeared.
FoxNews has a great asset in her. I hope they realize that.

I completely agree with you and without trying to appear too redundant let me just say that Jennifer Eccleston seems to posses a unique formula in her delivery that is truly captivating. No doubt we have all studied it, even if perhaps just subconsciously. It is natural and not something that can be easily faked, but I won't be surprised to see some of her natural traits impersonated by some of the other female journalists very soon. In fact, I think we are already seeing some of that.
I believe it is her imperfections that make her so attractive and captivating to watch. Sure she is very beautiful, credible and intelligent, but what likely captivates us is a more combination of the following:
Her truly natural look. The desert environment (e.g., sun, temperatures, winds, etc.) and the lack of makeup she wore while reporting over there was very attractive if you appreciate natural beauty, and most of the men I know think a large majority of women wear way too much makeup as victims of the marketing carried out by the behemoth cosmetics industry. We all know the blowing hair was the "exclamation point at the end of her sentence."
Because of her appeal to us, genuine concern for her safety ("don't harm a hair on her head or we'll start dropping the MAOBs" as though we were her father or perhaps a big brother) in the risky situations we witnessed while she was reporting during the war.
She is often pretty nervous when she reports - perhaps due to the stressful situations she seems to find herself in. This leads to the occasional fumbling of words while reporting and a nervous sniff that she has, which I believe is one of her most endearing qualities. In fact, while she was "under fire" in Baghdad she did her little nervous sniff just after the first real smile I had ever witnessed, yet on the Pat Sajak show interview and replay of that footage they edited the sniff out - BIG mistake. Luckily I have the original live footage of that digitally recorded!
Her body language is very unique and I am sure it defies the "rules of delivery" (according to "the book of broadcast journalism standards"). Everyone that "gets in line" and follows those standards looks like everyone else. She does not adhere to those standards and, therefore, stands out as unique to watch.
I am sure there are some experts out there somewhere that are studying Jennifer Eccleston as an anomalistic phenomenon, trying to come up with the formula to "clone" her appeal and sell that via some type of consultancy, but why do that when you can just visit http://www.Jennifer-Eccleston.com and get the real deal? ;)

I thought Jennifer got herself in trouble with the 'good old boy's'...her bosses at FOX for upstaging them and taking away all of their thunder or something and they parked her on a shelf somewhere. Also, I was very surprised that Jennifer responded to your website. All I can say is, "she is one classy lady."
If FOX doesn't know what to do with Jennifer, I'll tell them. Put Jennifer on Fox News every day so we can all see her and listen to her report the news, then, watch the ratings go up. That's my 25 cents worth.

Thanks for the heads up. I was wondering what had happened with Jennifer Eccleston. I was wondering if Lori Dhue put her foot down and had her removed for being better, prettier and just all around the bomb. I see where Lori is doing her best impression of a field reporter but she just doesn't have that camera presence that Jen does or the reporting skills. Lori doesn't have her pan makeup on the road. It'll be hard to top Jen getting shot at in the field in Baghdad.

When I look on this site I see the hit tally going up everytime---topping 40,000 soon. Jenn is still popular even though nobody sees her anymore---lol. Whatever is going on at Fox---I hope it is her idea and not theirs.
I would bet that they could put Molly,Carol or Greg Palcott in Baghdad for the next two years, and still, 10 years from now when the war is mentioned it will still conjure up an image of Jennifer Eccleston standing there with the backdrop of the minaret and the mosque(even though she was there only a couple of months). I am sure she will pop up but if not it will take a long time for her to be forgotten. This is a girl who has poets penning verse about her and musicians writing songs about her. Not your everyday, garden variety celebrity---that is for sure. Jenn is unique.

I grew up with Jennifer Eccleston. She was my brothers prom date in high school and college sweetheart for 2 years. She is a very nice person and comes from a strong family. I know she is flattered by your website but Jenn is not about flash and cash! She is a very low key person and some of the comments on the website probably are a little embarassing to her. I have written a song inspired by this inspiring Lady. Stylistically it sounds like a mix of Sting, Craig David and Peter Gabriel. I have endeavored to make contact through news networks, in order to send a copy to her - and as yet had little success. I must say here though that I appreciate how busy both the news stations and Jennifer Eccleston must be, and how many people must try to make contact. That being the case, I'm in no particular hurry and ultimately do not expect anything beyond hoping I have an opportunity to give this song to the one who sparked it into being.
