Dear Bobby,
A quick, delayed note, once again, to thank you for such a congenial and chic website. It is truly an enjoyable and informative read. I am continually amazed by the response from viewers. I've been a journalist now for well over a decade and have never received such attention. It is humbling. I am especially intrigued by the comments regarding my "live" delivery. The attention to detail is astounding. As a result, I am particularly mindful to my "live bounce." There have been many suggestions as to why I tend to rock during some appearances: caffeine overdose, hyper-stimulation and nerves.... one person even suggested that I am in constant need of a bathroom! As a result of such feedback, I remain keenly aware of this idiosyncrasy and do my utmost to keep it in check. I was, according to my mother, allotted a considerable dose of nervous energy at birth.
Your website has also re-introduced me to a great many old and dear friends from many, many, many years ago and for this I am most grateful.
Currently, I'm enjoying some down time at home as I await my next assignment. I am contributor to Fox News until the end of the year. This means I am called when needed.
Kind regards to you and all those who've posted messages.
Best, Jennifer Eccleston

Hi Jennifer,
Thanks for taking the time to write me again. It is always a pleasure hearing from you and seeing you "do your thing" on TV. You seem to have a great sense of humor based on your e-mail.
My two cents? Continue to be Exactly who you are. Certainly work to improve on what you've built, but there's no need to go after the foundation - your "moves," and the other endearing aspects of your on-camera delivery, are your signature! There are many beautiful and talented people out there, especially on the news networks here lately, but you come across as real and enjoyable to watch because you don't do what everyone else does, which ads to your credibility and makes you captivating and interesting to watch. Embrace these "idiosyncrasies" as they are YOU and they are wonderful. Also, the "live bounce" on your toes has got to be good for your calves. :) Your little nervous sniff is my favorite thing, seriously. I noticed someone has chosen to edit that out of the replays of the live fire incident though. That's okay - I have it ;)
The work you decide to take on causes me to believe that you may have the "extreme gene" like me. :) For whatever reason, you seem to gravitate towards the dangerous assignments - so please be safe out there. I suspect that is why you packed out of Liberia when you did. I get a lot of e-mail from fans who want to know "where you went" when you disappear from radar, so short updates from you would be helpful. The site can continue to serve as "communications central" for your fans.
I look forward to hearing back from you soon.
Sincerely, Bobby G |
